Trey LaFave is a Georgia native who now calls New York City home. Specializing in renovations and creating timeless warm interiors, LaFave’s work has been featured on CNN.com and in various other publications. Trey’s projects range from large estates to pied-à-terre’s building a repeat clientele throughout Georgia, South Carolina, and New York over the past 15 years. Past experience includes working for AD 100 firm Stephen Sills Associates assisting on the restaurant design for Baccarat Hotel & Residences New York among other projects. Trey began working for prominent architecture firms Spitzmiller & Norris and Peter Block Architects as a senior designer collaborating on an award winning project with interior designer Brian McCarthy and French boiserie artisans. LaFave was also contracted as an architectural designer and assisted with the interior design for award winning projects for St. Regis Residences Atlanta. LaFave graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design with instruction on antiques by representatives from Sotheby’s and Israel Sack. LaFave also has a Masters in Classical Architecture studying in New York, Greece, and Italy. Intrigued while traveling through Europe, Trey began shopping at the London and Paris flea markets becoming a buyer and silent partner for an antiques store. Memberships include The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art and various historical preservation associations.
